Baijnath Holi (Ravi Valley) over Jalsu Pass
Day 1 1800 mts) Arrival Tashi ong 50 KM from Dharamsala and 3 km from Lord Shiva Temple and Tashi Jong is very near to Taragerh palace after rest walk around Tashi Jong village and monastery do the acclimatization.
Day 2 Drive to Uttrala the staring point of Trek by jeep or walk form Tashi jong village by suddu Utrala- Parai village (2390 mts.) –17 kms., the trek weaves all along the Parai Nullah having gentle climb. Parai is a small village beautiful village between the mountain. The residents are frequent visitors to Yara . Where they have improvised huts for temporary stay.
Day 3 Parai to Yara 13 Kms (cross over Jalsu Pass-3600 mts.) Jalsu Pass is an accessible pass and is easy to cross, trekkers and pilgr../images who take part in Manimahesh pilgrimage often cross this pass and stay at Yara. which has vast green meadows and flat area. Local people establish seasonal tea stalls to help the trekkers and pilgr../images.
Day 4 Yara Jote- Surai village (2788 mts.)- 12 kms the trek descends from Yara to Surai having dense forest of mixed variety. This region is also famous for collection of medicinal plants. one day in sarai village local walk and in the village
Day 5 Sarai- Gadoh village 12 kms the trek passes through Laake wali mata (Hindu Goddess) temple and nyagram which are incredible beautiful place and few villages at intervals, the trek descends steeply at places and from Bhagi onwards a jeepable road is under construction which links to deol and Holi. One has the choice to trek to Bara Bhangal from Nayagraon which further takes about 3 days. The people from Bara Bhangal village take this route to reach Kharamukh, Bharmaur and Chamba.
Day 6 Gdoh village to Tashi Jong or to you destination of Departure village by bus or jeep
